ON INSPIRATION
Travelling inspires me. You realise that there are so many different ways of doing or approaching everything and there is no right answer or one way to live your life. Getting into another mindset and seeing new places and people, frees me from preconceptions, opens my mind and feeds my creativity
PERSONAL MOTTO
“The finite nature of life is what makes it so precious. So treasure every day and make the most of it.”
ON LIVING LIFE BY YOUR OWN RULES
When I was very young, my parents divorced and I had a bit of a traumatic childhood. I soon realised that I had to take care of myself and make my own dreams come true. Without my parents telling me what to do I never really adhered to the rules!

ON OVERCOMING CHALLENGES TO GET WHERE YOU ARE
Being a little bit too ambitious and optimistic means that sometimes I have often fallen quite short of my expectations or burnt out trying to achieve them. I quite often have to remind myself that the fun is as much in the journey as the end result and when I have more time and less pressure I enjoy the process more!
ON CHAN & EAYRS
Consciously working on just one project at a time they like to ‘feel’ their spaces. Each of their projects is a life journey, reflecting their current influences, interests in material; methods of making, and their connection to nature & the elements. In this way they are investor, creative & craftsmen giving them complete creative freedom.
